Better self-esteem: How to make your goals measurable
The 5 important characteristics of the SMART model help you identify and achieve motivating goals:
Specific
Measurable
Achievable
Relevant
Time Limited
Last post was about identifying what you want to change to feel better and to live the life you want. It was about using the SMART-model by specifying your problems, 2-3 specific problem situations as well as the related symptoms and consequences in your life today.
Then, identify how you will:
3 MEASURE the goal – what will the change look like in detail, as well as 2-3 related sub-goals
4 MEASURE goal accomplishment – how will you measure the goal and the sub-goals: time, frequency etc.
