Steve Jobs, who was one of the founders of Apple, made a famous speech to the graduating students of Stanford in 2005.
The speech reminds us of our limited time on earth and hence the importance of that we dare to make changes that might be uncomfortable and that we actively choose and repeatedly remind ourselves to focus on what we would like to spend our time on:
“Remembering that I’ll be dead soon is the most important tool I’ve ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life…because almost everything — all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure — these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.”

Would putting it into the perspective of life and death help?
Which 2-3 activities would you like to spend your time on?
What can you do about this today? The coming week?
How can you make these activities a routine?
